There were a total of 13 PPC's here for the class. All of them were Buckeyes. All very nice machines too, most with all the bells and whistles you can get. But none had a genuine goose horn like mine :-))

Unfortunately, the weather was not overly kind so we did not get to fly much until just before sunset. Of course, I was busy taking exams and I failed to get any good pictures until we were ready to fly. And by then, there was not enough light to get any really great shots. So I hope these will do. And by the way - yes  I have now earned my flight instructors rating. Hooray!!!
The winds finally calmed towards evening and everyone was ready to fly. The sky was clear to the east and overcast to the west. Flying the pattern with so many machines in the air was cool.
Here is Larry Nash flying his new high performance eliptical wing.
Another touch and go
A late launch, just enough light left for a couple of "go arounds"
And, on Saturday, April 8th, 2000 my paperwork arrived. A complete training syllabus, outline and unified practical test standards. My log book has been properly signed and counter-signed. Plus, I got my OFFICIAL certificate (suitable for framing) and my ID card.

I am now a UFI.
