Whitman Strip
2005 Open House
10/15/2005
The Whitman Strip Open House is always a family oriented event. We try to provide entertainment for everybody, even people who have little interest in flying. The kids love climbing aboard the Fire Truck and meeting real firefighters and rescue workers. Everyone enjoys the MedStar helicopter, Fly I trucks, motorcycle displays and candy drop.

The number one activity for many of the kids though, are the free go cart rides. Thanks to Tom's efforts as our full time go cart mechanic this year, we were able to keep two of the three go carts up and running all day. We collected over two hundred waivers from riders!

Somehow though, we failed to get even a single picture of the track area.

Please accept my apologies and note: we will not make that mistake again next year.

The pictures below are a few of the other things to be seen at our air strip on Open House day. Hope you enjoy, and check back for go cart pictures next year!
